Not sure how I haven't thought to put together a post about about this yet, but knowing how to clean your corset can be a super valuable piece of information, regardless if you are completely new to corsets or otherwise. So here are my 5 "how to" cleaning tips for your corset:
With the increasing popularity of waist training, its important for you to know what to look for when investing in one. Overall, even a well made off the rack waist trainer is generally an investment in terms of its price, so here we've put together all the reasons why we know you will fall in love with our latest Love of Corsets Black Satin 20 Steel Bone Waist Training Long Underbust Corset With Free Stockings. Oh and to celebrate how much we love our latest waist trainer, we've reduced her down from $85 to just $76 :)
Though many tight-lacers are waist trainers, not every waist-trainer is a tight-lacer.
Though it sounds a little confusing (actually it almost sounds like an SAT question), it really isn't all that confusing at all.
Though I've never been much of a lover of trends, I think its fair to say that recently waist-training has become relatively trendy and for that, I couldn't be more happy! Not only do I love to waist train myself, but I also just love love love talking about it. I could seriously go on forever!
But here is something that I see quite often and its something of a myth that I want to debunk for all those new to waist training: you don't need to purchase a waist training corset in order to waist train.
The "corset diet" has gained a considerable amount of attention lately, and as a result I find it virtually impossible to not address the topic.
Here is where I find myself at a crossroads:
This is a bit of a lengthy read, but well worth it. And if you do choose to skim through, then try and have a look-see at the most important points, all highlighted and boldfaced in pink.
Now, with all of the recent popularity that waist-training has been getting lately, there is without a doubt no shortage of information out there on the subject and some of it is very good. But then there's the rest of it: telling people that they have to wear their corset all day and all night; that you have to buy a waist-training corset because a steel boned corset won't do the trick...and I want to debunk a few of those silly "tips" and also provide you with a few tricks that will definitely help you stick to your new routine.
This is an issue I have come to deal with all too frequently: a dear customer will purchase their corset based on the size they want their waist to be and not the size that will fit their current measurements.
Though it would be lovely if it were as simple as selecting a 24" corset regardless of the fact that your waist measures 32" when in its relaxed state, wrapping the corset 'round yourself, drawing in the laces and voila! An impressive (and immediate!) 8" waist reduction! Sadly, it does not work this way...
